How to take a good card photo
A clean, straight photo makes manual centering easier. The outer card edges and printed border should both be visible.
- Place the card flat.
- Use a plain background.
- Shoot straight from above.
- If the card is tilted, retake the photo or rotate it before measuring.
- Avoid glare and shadows.
For the most accurate result, avoid anything that hides the true card edge.

- Do not crop off the card edges in your original photo.
